The suspects are in an Internet football betting line led by Huynh Ngoc Anh (48 years old, in Da Nang City).

On the evening of September 23, more than 100 police officers rounded up Huynh Ngoc Anh and 21 others in the gambling line.

According to the Department of Cyber Security and High-tech Crime Prevention, from the beginning of 2020 up to now, this line has traded with an amount of more than VND 3,000 billion.

Regarding the number of casinos operating in Vietnam, the Ministry of Finance said that the country currently has more than 10 licensed casino business projects.

Specifically, 7 projects are operating casino business in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Da Nang, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and 1 casino project in Quang Nam only for foreigners to play.

Quang Ninh's largest casino lost VND 54 billion in half year
