Buy lottery tickets according to your child's date of birth, 2 times hit the jackpot of 48 billion

Thanks to the secret to always buying lottery tickets with the same number of numbers combined with the date of birth of the children, a woman has twice won the jackpot with a total prize value equivalent to nearly VND 48 billion.

The lucky woman above is Shanika Miller, who lives in Durham, North Carolina, USA.

Ms. Miller just won the $2 million jackpot of the Powerball lottery. The number that brought the grand prize to Mrs Miller was a combination of her children's birth date.

Interestingly, this number helped Ms. Miller win $50,000 three years ago.

Sharing her lottery secrets with North Carolina Lottery officials, Ms. Miller said she always used her children's birthdays to buy lottery tickets. "I always buy lottery tickets with the same sequence of numbers. I never change numbers," Ms. Miller said.

Thanks to this perseverance, Ms. Miller won a $2 million (about VND 46 billion) jackpot in the Powerball lottery on April 4.

Mrs Miller was surprised by the award she had just won. "That day, I woke up around 6 a.m. and watched the winning announcement. I burst into tears. At first, I thought this could not be true. I kept checking the numbers over and over," Ms Miller recalled.

The combined number of children's births also helped Ms Miller win the $50,000 jackpot of a lottery in 2017.

Speaking about the plan with the winnings, Ms Miller said she would use part of the jackpot to buy her son a car. She would also buy the whole family a new home and pay all the family bills.
