Someone just won a $410 million jackpot in the U.S.

Someone in the U.S. state of Arizona bought the winning ticket for the Mega Millions jackpot announced on June 10, according to CNN citing information from the tournament's hosting company.

Arizona State first appeared the jackpot winner of the Mega Millions lottery. If he decides to take it once, he will receive about $316.8 million.
To win the jackpot, the number on the ticket must match a total of 6 numbers, including the number "Megaball". A further 13 tickets matched the first five figures, and nine of these were worth $1 million while the other four won $2 million.
The probability of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1/302 million when held in 45 states, and washington D.C as well as the Virgin Islands.
Meanwhile, the probability of winning the Powerball jackpot, another form of lottery ticket in the US, was lower at 1/292 million.
However, there are also those who have been lucky enough to hit the Powerball jackpot this year.
In February, a New Jersey man received $202 million for Powerball's top prize. Under the state's new law, winners have the right to keep their identities private.
