Destroying the VND 20,000 billion online gambling line
Le Tuan Vinh, 32, Tran Thi Kim Ngan, 30, and hoang Van Tan, 32, Hoang Van Nhum, 28, were identified by Hung Yen Provincial Police as the ringleas of the gambling line. Along with these people, police also arrested 16 other suspects residing in Hanoi, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Bac Giang.
These 20 people are being investigated by the Police of Hung Yen province for gambling acts and gambling organizations.

On July 3, Hung Yen Police said that the group operated 5 first-level agents of 5 different exchange-time card game sites with servers located overseas. Each card game has more than 20 first-level agents. Each first-level agent has dozens of level 2 agents nationwide.

Police estimate that in 2018, millions of "gamblers" registered to gamble and the transaction amount in this line amounted to more than VND 20,000 billion.

During the search, police seized 38 mobile phones, 7 sets of computers of all kinds, nearly VND 2 billion in cash and many Internet-connected devices and blocked more than 100 bank accounts.
