What are the problems of greyhound racing and horse racing?
If international football betting cannot be implemented in Vietnam because of legal problems, dog racing and horse racing betting in our country is also stalled for a number of other reasons that ministries and sectors are working to remove the bottleneck.

Mr. Do Van Sup, Head of Foreign Investment Department (under Department of Foreign Investment, Ministry of Planning and Investment), said that some localities such as Hanoi, Phu Yen, Vinh Phuc, Da Nang, Lam Dong … are proposing racecourse construction projects, including the horse racing and greyhound racing betting business. However, up to now, only 1 dog racing betting business has been licensed in accordance with the previous investment law with a narrow scale and scope at Lam Son Stadium (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province). In addition, Phu Yen province was also approved by the Prime Minister for the addition of Phu Yen racecourse project with horse racing and greyhound racing activities in An My commune, Tuy An province to the master plan for socio-economic development of Phu Yen province to 2020 with a vision to 2030.
