Breaking the nearly VND 1,000 billion gambling line in Hanoi

Through the work of understanding the situation, the Criminal Police Department of Hanoi Police discovered the above gambling and gambling organization line led by Nguyen Manh Long (SN 1991) and Vu Manh Dung (SN 1981; residing in My Dinh 2, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi). The daily transaction amount is from 5 to 10 billion VND.
On September 20, the Criminal Police Department cooperated with the professional units of the City Police to arrest the subjects including Nguyen Manh Long, Vu Manh Dung, Bui Xuan Thanh (SN 1977, residing in Tan Binh, Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province), Bui Quang Huy (SN 1986, residing in Phuong Lam, Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Province) and Vu Thi Hao (SN 1976, residing in My Dinh 2, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi).
Conducting a search of the suspects' accommodation, police seized 19 mobile phones, 9 laptop computers and more than VND 2.5 billion in cash.
Based on investigative documents and testimony of the subjects, the criminal police department estimates the amount of gambling money, gambling organizations, from the beginning of 2020 to now is about VND 1,000 billion.
Currently, the functional police units of Hanoi city are continuing to investigate and handle the subjects.
